Drawings and paintins by Rose Graubart Ignatow have been widely exhibited, including numerous solo shows, such as those at the Carlebach and the Gotham Book Mart galleries. She is also a poet, editor, and fiction writers. Thought by many to be the Gertrude Stein of the Mamptons, she is much sought after for her artistic taste and critical acumen. Two notable occasions in which she publically demonstrate her remarkable range were the "Seven Creative Women of the Hamptons," an exhibition and panel discussion at Southampton College in 1973, and the "Poets and Artists" complemntary painting/poetry exhbition and reading at Guild Hall in 1982.
